This workshop is for those practicing Flow/Vinyasa style yoga who
want to take their practice to a deeper level.
This September we'll focus on creating a more stable and balanced
hip girdle. Our hips connect our upper and lower bodies.
They are the primary hinges of our bodies. Opening and
stabilizing the muscles that support the hips is essential to living
a
pain free adult life.

For thousands of years the benefits of a regular practice of
meditation have been praised by people from all walks of life.
Meditation is the yoga of the mind. It completes and fulfills our
practice of physical yoga. By focusing the mind in a relaxed way,
meditation reveals the natural stillness, silence, and clarity of
mind that is our innermost self. Mind Yoga will include sitting
meditation and breathing exercises. No prior experience is
necessary.
Scott McBride
is Verge’s on-staff meditation master and is the Co-Director of the
Clear Light Meditation Group. He has practiced Buddhist meditation
for over 35 years and taught group seminars since 1978.
