in the tri-state area. In order to teach yoga, you must first
experience yoga. In our training you’ll come to know the
brilliance of your body, the power of your mind and your

Sundays 8:30 - 5:00 pm

based on weekend curriculum)

Locations: Friday/Sunday students choose from Wayne or
Wilmington centers. Saturdays will be held at one
location alternating between Wayne and Wilmington.

Locations: Workshops will be held at one of the Verge Power
Yoga and Empowered Yoga locations.

Johnny
Gillespie,
cpt, cscs, e-ryt Empowered Yoga
Johnny Gillespie, a dynamic and youthful teacher of health and
fitness, founded Plexus in 1999 with the perspective that
fitness was more than just exercise. He began his career in 1995
after graduating from West Virginia University School of
Physical Education. He holds numerous certifications in the
fitness field including the National Strength and Conditioning
Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
In 2002 he founded Empowered Yoga a subsidiary of Plexus which
currently operates yoga centers in Wilmington , Newark and
within the Hockessin Athletic Club. Johnny is a national
presenter with the NSCA where he teaches the Balanced Athlete
Program. He currently lives in West Chester with his wife Sara
and their three children Jimmy, Leia and Liam.
